1. Formal Surrender by Senior Japanese forces in Korea: Japan withdraws ground, sea, air and auxillary forces forces commands with South Korea. 2. Certification of Receipt by the acting Govenor General of Korea: The Govenor General of Korea certifies that he read and understands the contents of the surrender. 3. Supreme Allied Commander South East Asia:Means that a Supreme Allied Commander is in control of the Japanese and any disobedience towards the orders from the Supreme Allied Commander. 4. First Instrument of Surrender: Accepted surrender to the Allies and Great Britain on July 26th, 1945. 5. Second Instrument of Surrender: Accepted more terms after the First Instrument, signed on September 3, 1945. 6. Emperor Hirohito's Receipt of the Surrender: Accepted the terms set forth in the Declaration issued by the heads of the government of the U.S., Great Britain, and China, July 26, 1945. (A few hours later the First Instrument of Surrender was signed.)
