Why do People Bully?
Bullies make a choice to bully, so it is always their fault there is no gray area you iether bully or you don't. People choose to bully for many reasons, and in almost every case it is for attention. Even if they say it is for popularity, that is attention. Family troubles, they need attention. It all revolves around the attention factor.
Alot of times people asume that the only reason that a person bully one another is because he/she is having problems at home. Well that is the case sometinmes, but not always. Many times the person is looking for popularity and that this is their only shot at getting it. A lot of the time when they want popularity they also want power, so the bully will bully others to gain power and friends which doesn't make much sence, but that is what is happening today.
Most bullies, before they became bullies were socially rejected. Then they will gain dominance/power over others by bullying them to make others feel the same way he did. Because he may not know how else to vent his feelings. And when others see that that person has power over others then they will want to be friends with them because they are friends with a powerful person. This will make them a powerfulish person too by just beng friends with that BULLY.
