I am used in so many different things, you come across me at least once every day and you might not even know it. As a matter of fact, I’m in your body at this very minute. Your body wouldn’t be able to everyday things with out me in every single one of your cells. Let me tell some of the many things I am in. Let’s see I’m in food, fire, safety matches, tracer bullets, incendiary devices (bombs), pesticides (chemical substance to get ride of pests), pyrotechnic devices, cleaner, water softener, steel, and well you get the picture.
Phosphorus
Color- Ordinary I am colorless but I can be red, black, waxy white and sometimes violet. My boiling point is 280 C and my melting point is 44.1 C I am a solid.
Physical Properties
Reactivity accurse when I, Phosphorus am exposed to air, water, and acids. I am also highly flammable. I will burn spontaneously in air.
