The Homarus Americanus
It's feeding habits tend to make it a scavenger feeding off the dead. However it has the means and abilitys to capture and kill it's own prey. It is an omnivore meaning it eats both plants and animals. Its diet consits of clams, snails , crabs, algae, and even its own thick shell. On the predatory side it is mainly consumed by crabs, seals, multiple types of fish, and humans..
The Homarus Americanus is a speceis of lobster flourishing on the North American Atlantic coast. Normaly homed on the continental shelf along with even deeper waters. They can become quite large and some of the biggest reported catches were close to 20 Kg in weight and nearlly a century old.

The North American Lobster can live approximately 265 miles below the ocean surface. While found to live in muddied or sanded areas, they prefer a rocky surface in order to hide from predators. The younger generations have appeared to have a preference to cobbled sections. The speceis stays inside for most of the day unless there is a veryy near by food source. At evening they are far more active and explore the surrounding oocean,though they stay near enough home to run from a threat.Also thereare major competitions for food that mainly envolve their own speceis. when confronting eachother they will go into a sereis of strength competions . After those a fight to the death will occur however they can back down any time before this and will not be pursued for fleeing the fight.
Human impacts
Among many speceis the North American Lobster isalso affected by humans. There has been major damage done to it's precarious habitat. The dumping of wiat has polluted waters. Cargo ships have destroyed reefs anf other lodgings. Over fishing and simple destruction for resources have also occured.
