The Bombing of the 16th Street Baptist Curch
During the bombing of the church 4 girls died. There was 122 sticks of dynamite planted. Members of the KKK in Birmingham, Alabama were the subsects.
The bombing of the church took place in Birmingham, Alabama. It happened on September 15th, 1963.
The Civil Rights Movement was related to this by the following. The bombing was done because of skin color. The whites didn't like black people.
The 4 Girls Killed
A quote from Martin Luther King Jr. ''life is as hard as crucible steel.'' He was talking about life after the bombing.
The Civil Rights Movement might of been easier if the bombing didn't happen. It might of been easier, because their would be less hate. Also the church could of been where whites and blacks talked to each other and praised the Lord together.
