Into The Wild by Jon Krakauer
Chris McCandless was a young man who had a passion for nature. He abandoned his family after a semester of college and set out for a life of wandering, eventually leading to his place of death, Alaska.
Jon Krakauer leads the reader through Chris's travels and the lives of people that have been compared to McCandless in the way that he died of starvation in the uncharted Alaskan bush.
Chris is a man of mystery. He had given 25,000 dollars in savings to charity, abandoned most of his possesions, including his car, burned all the cash in his wallet, and completely changed his ways of life.
