Chickadees have a shorter flight than normal birds because they don't migrate and only use flight for food and defence.
Guess what us chickadees have hollow bones in our wings which makes us lighter so we can fly higher
The chickadees flight is often described as a slow bobbing flight.
Their wings sweep backwards for faster flying and extend the wings for slower flying speed and because of the first finger the bird can fly slow without falling out of the sky. The birds wings are flat aero foils cut into three parts, the humerus the radius or ulna and the hand.
The humerus connects the wing to the shoulder.it also has the tertiary feathers. The radius and ulna have the secondary feathers.the radius and humerus are connected bya web and stretchy ribbon of tendent. The birds hand has three half hearted fingers and the primary feathers. The bones in the wings of the chickadee can fold in and out, and also twist back and forth.
