If he knew, He’d be devastated. Everything I promiced I wouldn’t do, I have done. The person on the phone, Just a friend. One of your friends, And he really likes me. He treats me right. I feel safe around him. It’s not that I didn’t feel safe before, It’s that I feel safer now. Someone cares enough. Even though “God forgives me, And you forgave me” too, This guy doesn’t back down. He wants me safe. I’m trying my best, To be safe for him. His voice makes me feel safe, And the safety of his grasp, It’s unbeatable.
