How does the color of the music tell us about the moods of the individual characters? (on my own)
What did the hunters do when they came out of the woods? (right there)
Why might Grandfather be furious if Peter left the gate? (right there)
Peter and the Wolf Sergei Prokofiev Narrated: Leonard Bernstein
A story written in a musical format, also called a program piece. All the characters are represented by a different instrument. This is a story written about a boy, Peter. Peter ventures out into the meadow and walks along the lake with his friends the bird, duck and cat. Peter does not care that his grandfather thinks it is dangerous to be out, and never thinks twice about the wolves in the forest.
