Valley Forge came to symbolize heroism of the American revolutionaries.
Baron Von Steuben trained the Americans how to fight.He designed a training program for the army. Trained General Washington in how to drill the troops.
Marquis de Lafayette aided the Continental army. He was from France. He bought materials that were needed for the soldiers. He suppurted American causes, and he was totally supportive of George Washington.
