Vesicles
Some vesicles transport macromolecules from endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi appartus and from the Golgi appartus to other parts of the cell.
The shape helps because it makes it easier for substances to pass in and out of the vesicle.

There are two main types of vesicles, lysosomes and peroxisomes. The Lysosomes digest old cells, the peroxisomes protect cells from hydrgen peroxide. And example of the way lysosomes help is in the human fetus. When develping fingers and toes are webbed, the lysosomes help break these down those cells when they die.
