I am on my way to living in the wilderness on my own for a few months. I have been lucky enough to hitchhike a ride from a very nice man by the name of Gallien. I am going to be living off of the food I hunt down and kill, and that is how i am going to manage to survive. As for the water, there is plenty of that to find. I am off to the Stampede Trail. I will write back soon. -Alex

Chapter: 2 I was surprised to find out that McCandless is already dead. I would have thought that his confidence alone would have helped him to survive. I am kind of dissapointed to see that his dead body was sitting out there for a couple of weeks. It is kind of sad.

Chapter: 1 If McCandless is crazy enough to go out on the wild and do what he is doing, I don't think he will be able to survive. I think that Gallien should have told the State Troopers just incase. That could save someones life just incase they get into trouble.
