Into your flesh you cut and slice, with no real need to be precise. with blood, death you shall entice. you know you're unwilling to pay his price. You sit there alone in your dispair. You try to hate the world and try to think it unfair. But know you threw your life into disrepair. You made your life this nightmare. Haven't done enough to send you to the Reaper. Begging for the courage to press a little deeper. Mind in disarray. You are your own prey. Attacking yourself everyday. Hiding behind the happiness you portray. Slice away the skin. Blood flowing to reveal the sin. Uncovering the pathetic girl within. Too scared to even give in. Pick up the mask and put away the blade. cover up the cowardness and join life's twisted masquerade.
