DOES MUSIC HELP EXCERISE BETTER?
PURPOSE If the body exerise better with music.
HYPOTHESIS That music will help excereise better.
PROCEDURE Let someone or yourself run for however they want, also time them on the treadmill. Let them run without music however long they want. Take a break, let them run again with music (doesn't matter). record the results, record time on stopwatch.
Abstract Purpose: Does music help your body exercise better? Hypothesis: Music does help the body exercise on treadmill with music, exercise without music. Results: They stayed on the treadmill longer with music. Conclusion: Music does help you exercise better. It supports my hypothesis; it means that for people trying to find a better way to exercise better. The purpose of my experiment was to see if music helps the body exercise better. It was said that exercise is boring and lame. So the experiment was to see if you can exercise better with the help of America’s all time favorite: Music. In my 2 trials for each twin, one ran for however long they wanted then the other without music. Each both ran for 5 minutes and got bored, tired. So I told them to put any type, genre music they wanted to and run to it. They liked Mary J. Blige, R & B. They ran for 16 and 17 minutes between the both of them. So my hypothesis was correct music does help the body exercise better. From the research I looked up as long as you are distracted then it really does matter.
Conclusion Test results supported the hypothesis. The data I collected showed that it is better to exercise with music than without music. As long as you are distracted while working out that’s all that matters. The music most referable is upbeat, that just keep you moving. Also, if you like any different type of music that’s cool too. The twins in the experiment weren’t exercise-daily people. Maybe it would have had a different effect with the experiment. If I use exercise-daily people then it would have worked out different. If they had a specific genre to see how they reacted to it. A specific time would of probably worked better too. The information learned from this experiment would be useful to people trying to find a different method of working out. If they really like music then this would be a great thing to try.
