Dread Locks is a book by Neal Shusterman.

This story takes place in a rich town. Parker Baer is the main character in this story.He is a little spoiled because of his rich family.Tara the girl who moves in next door is very confident and has her own beliefs and lifestyle.With her moving in next door he has no idea how much his life will change.
Some of the major events were when Tara changed Parker, parker changed their cat, Tara pushed parker off a cliff.
My favorite part in this story was when Parker and Tara fought at the end. If parker won he would kill Tara, if Tara won she would kill Parker. In the end well i cant tell you the ending but if you want to know the end you should read it.
