Civil Rights Act of 1968
The Civil Right Act was a huge problem in the 50's and 60's. African Americans were still treated with disrespect. They wanted complete freedom, and they were gonna do anything with non-violence to get it. Riots broke out, lots of people were killed for stupid reasons.
My fellow Americans! I'm President Lyndon Johnson. After President Keneddy was killed, I wanted to make his dreams become for real. In 1968, I signed the Civil Rights Act giving Africian Americans complete freedom. Color doesn't matter. If your born in America, Your considered an American!
My Dream Finally Came True.
Man I'm tired of this! All I was doing was walking with my wife and daughter when a cop stopped me and nearly beat me to death. All because I was black.
Most of the Civil Rights era occured in Chicago, IL. The second largest city in the world! Lots of African Americans. Riots and Murder-Death-Kills happened.
