A tornado is created when cold air is mixed with warm air. A tunnel of wind is created in the cloud and touches the ground frecuently.
A Tornado...
A Hurricane...
A hurricane formed over the Atlantic Ocean by the warm water off the tropical west coast of Africa. The warm water warms the air above it. Hurricanes start as a low pressure area, then the circling winds pick up energy from the warm moist air.
Earthquake...
The release of pressure caused by the grinding together of the tectonic plates creates the earthquake.
A Hail Storm...
Hailstorms form as water droplets freeze into an ice nucleus. These small portions of ice continue to collect more ice which would normally melt in the thunderclouds. Those that are too heavy though, will not melt and fall to the ground as hail.
