Shortly after 10pm on 8th December 2004, one of the greatest Metal Legends to have roamed this earth, was shot dead, in a thoughtless act of voilent mental instability...

I read the news last night just before bed A horrible tragedy, Dimebag is dead The metal world in mourning, a hero fell Rest In Peace to a cowboy from hell You helped us through the 90's when metal seemed dead You stayed true to the cause there was a hunger you fed Your spirit will be carried t hrough memories and song In the heart of heavy metal Dimebag will live on Like Randy, Jimmi and Cliff your death came too soon No one was ready for you to pass from this world So take your place amongst the greats Unlock the door, and pass through the cemetary gates. Dimebag was not only a musician, but a role model to thousands of aspiring teens worldwide. People respected and looked upto him - and still remain to do so til this day. Death is not the end for Dime, his legend and music will still ring out for decades to come.
