Beneatha Younger Beneatha younger starts out to be a happy, fun loving, enthusiastic girl. But when they came to a point where they wanted to move into a house, everything got stressful. But when Walter LOST all their money, thats when beneatha lost her temper. She had no idea what do say or do. She exploded out on walter,she was really disappointed in his actions. At one point of the play, during the end, she even declared that he is not her brother anymore. But the love and affection starts to come back, because walter wants to help out the family, and she sees through the hatred that she still loves him.
The most important moment for beneatha younger was when Walter Lee lost the family's money. She was very unhappy in his actions, and was extremely disappointed. Another important moment for beneatha is when Asagai comes to visit and help with the packing. Asagai stated that he wants beneatha to come back to Africa with him and be a doctor there. She is taking consideration of that offer.
