He digs his frosted claws into me, the tips freeze my heart. My blood is like molten lava, subdued by the Monster's art. My eyes of dry leaves, hazel gemstones no longer alight. Contempt. Malice. Frosty Winter's bite. A white blanket; montonous and still so exquisite, A beautiful plague He's brought, I must admit. I am entranced, spellbound. My gaze held steady. I must let go now, for the Season is ready. The last of the fight, the strength and the beauty, Is taken by Winter, fulfilling his duty. Casting a frozen palace (prison) amongst the land. The seasons becoming his slaves with each command. Today, a new monarch descends, His glacial Highness. Fall to His knees, His power, His Almighty Slyness. Today, as He took to the throne, I died a slow Autumn's death, And with my last one, He takes His first breath. Breathing out, iron-like strength, it almost freezes time, Yet somewhere to the withering cool land, I feel divine. I know I'm safe from the touches of Winter, I gave in; Now feel His royal power, His effects begin.
