What is a Monk?
Definition: A male member of a religious community bound by vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience. Tends to devote himself to prayer and the work of the Lord and church.
On this trip to Canterbury, we find an interesting man who seems to call himself a monk but does not quite fit the usual description. In his character analysis he is discribed as a wordly man who dwells in the present. He ignores the rules of conformity and ultimately controls his own life, rather than following God.
His flaws include: Caring more about hunting and studying than the church and using church money for personal use.
It is really so wrong to like the modern world and the indulgent lifestyle?
