Crouched and Ready Terrified and Out of Breath I was running from The Shaddow What the Hell is out there? I will never know. I was taught to run, just run away from The Danger It was staring me right in my eyes But I could not stare any longer The flames unbearable My soul was centered Steady yet uneven What was That? It didn't say much but I knew I knew It reached into me Pulled out my courage I ran from My Fears Strangled from my own jacket The wind wipped at my back What the Fuck just happened?
