Homogeneous: -A mixture of two or more substances that are chemically bonded to create a new substance that is uniform in appearance. Example: Perfume, the different chemicals are mixed together to create one new substance, which is the fragrant perfume.
Colloid: -A substance that is evenly dipersed in another substance. Example: The beads in a face scrub are evenly separated in the cleansing gel.
Mixture: -A combination of two or more substances but they do not mix chemically, as you can differ the different parts of the mixture. Example: Salad, the different ingredients are mixed but one can still see the different parts of the salad.
Solution: -A mixture where the solvent and solute mix together completely without being able differ the different parts of the mixture. Example: Kool-Aid, the powder is the solute, and the water is the solvent.
