Midnight Lullaby Last goodbyes, listening to my midnight lullaby of tears that fall down my face. Silent screams as my heart dreams of a better lover than you. On the floor, your lifeless form lays, as I try harder to let you go. The more I try, the more I die until my heart completely stops beatings as our scarlet blood blends. Out into the rain, screaming in pain and terror with the sights I have seen. Shining bright under the dim street lights, the blade in my hand's firm grip. Letting go, the tears flow as I cry harder than the rain here in my seiring pain. The rain water gently glides down my wrists as I hold them in front of me looking up and asking God "why?" The acid in the rain brings more pain as it stings the wounds. Then, hearing your voice as you gently wipe my face free of its tears as I awake. You hold me close saying "Don't worry I'm right here." And I sit there in your arms as I silently say "being with you is my worst fear."
