The past couple of months...
Where to begin, I am happy to report that my past couple of months have been more than eventful! Season has come and gone in Naples. I survived! (Barely!) The roads are returning to normal and the beaches are filled with a lot less speedo's and European accents. My 7 day work week has dwindled to about 4-5 days now. I spent February, March, and April focusing on my AllyInc. line and the grad school application process. In February I took my AllyInc. Glassware to a couple of Farmer's Markets. They went over really well, and I ended up expanding into doing custom orders. Season and the lack of space has put anymore expanding on hold. And what we have all been waiting for... I got accepted to the Digital Design Program at Miami Ad School. I study for a year in Miami and then spend part of my 2nd year in 4 other locations (including overseas!) I'm in the process of finding a place to live, packing up my life, finding part-time work, saving my pennies, ignoring panic attacks at the thought of returning to school, and purchasing the necessities of a Graphic Designer! Purchase #1: A MacBook Pro Laptop!!! I love it! It's a scary journey to start all over. It's frightening to jump in and not know how it's going to end up. I'm looking forward to learning, experiencing, and growing; but most of all , i'm looking forward to waking up to a life I chose, and not a life I settled for!
A blog would'nt be complete without a picture of Reece and me! We're doing well, and I couldn't have gotten through these past couple of months without him!
