Reunited with my sorority sisters!!
Welcome 2009! A new year and new beginnings. I honestly don't know where the month went! I spent my fourth New Year's in a row at the Sobo residence. We took the boat to downtown Ft. Myers where they closed off the streets and had live bands and a large ball drop. I love the Sobo family and being reunited with my sorority sisters! I guess the rest of the month was spent working. Unfortunatly, "season" has not arrived. The tourists are here, they just aren't spending the money like they usually do. Im turning it into a positive though by looking for other part-time jobs in Miami... On to the Miami subject. February is my month to get my portfolio done. No if's and's or buts.... I keep putting it off the grad school process, yet have every intention of moving there. 2 other great things to happen this month was Reece returning safely back to Florida! Yayyyyy! He chose not to continue with the job and him and his brother decided to start their own company doing high-end restoration. The second was the celebration of our friends (Val and Darrens) engagement. After writing my 'glogs' i've realized the importance of taking time to do things I enjoy. No matter how tough times are, it's nice to pause and still remember to live life!
