INTIGERS

Subtracting intigers its almost the same thing as adding but you change the subraction sign to a plus sign. and you change the sign of the number to the right of it.

multiplyiing intigers you first ignore the signs then multiply like if there both positive numbers. then the awnser is positive. if they both positive and negative then the awnser is negative

Adding intigers To add intiger you can use the cats and dogs method, Dogs being the positive number cancle out cats which is the negative number look at the example to the left to see how its done.

example multiplying intigers. 3 x 4 = 12 -3 X -4 = 12 3 X -4 + -12 -3 X 4 = -12

example subtracting intigers 9-4 9+-4 9+-4 = 3

Example adding intigers 7+ -5 mke tic marks to represent the numbers 7+-5 \ x \ x \ x \ x \ x \ \ Cross out the negative over powered by the posative. and you are left with possative 2.
