Black Boy is a wonderful book i think that everyone should read it. He talks about his life and his struggles throught his life. Chapter 1 is the most important part of the whole book to me because it talks about how he can't even smile or laugh at the young age of four, and how he is so hungry and his mom is so poor and she don't know how to feed him. Antagonist: His dad, his hunger Protaganist: His mom, his younger brother. Color: The colors should be sad dark, like black. Theme: Hunger, confusion, and him having mixed feelings.
