Salt in the Wind
When I taste salt, It reminds me of jet-skiing. Feeling the water in my eyes, As the wind tosses my hair. Hearing the roar of the engine, Seeing the scenery pass by. Looking at the people on the shore, As if they’re tiny ants. Driving this powerful machine, Which intimidates me. Hearing my friend laughing, As she sprays me with water. Stumbling back home, Drenched in water and sand.
