Children's Rights
Founded by Marcia Robinson Lowry. Founded by Marcia Robinson Lowry
Children's Rights is a national advocacy group working to reform America’s failing child welfare systems on behalf of the abused & neglected children who depend on them for protection.
Children’s Rights began as a project of the New York Civil Liberties Union and, later, the American Civil Liberties Union. It became an independent nonprofit organization in 1995.

Child protective services removed three-year-old Deanna and six-month-old Alyssa from their New Jersey home in 1998 after neighbors called to report the poor treatment of animals on the premises.
Chris lived through a horror story for twelve years, passing in and out of Michigan’s child welfare system — and getting bounced around from one foster home to the next — before he was finally adopted at the age of 14.
