Their relationship in the beginning was complicated. Tammy and Brent met in high school, her a sophomore and him a senior. Tammy was at the Homecoming Dance, sitting alone while all of her friends were dancing and having fun. But that was until Brent came over. He asked her if she would dance with him. She agreed as they went out onto the dance floor. They danced all night long, having fun and talking. It turned out that they both had a lot in common with each other. It was the end of the dance and Tammy had to leave. She turned around to say goodbye to Brent. But before she could say a word, his lips were on hers. That kiss marked the start of their relationship. With every passing day, their love for each other grew more and more. In the hallways before class starts, they would hold hands, giving huge hugs and quick pecks to each other. In the classes that they did share, they would sit next to each other and hold hands. They were the perfect couple and inseperable. But then the shocking news came. Tammy's parents had forbidden her from ever seeing Brent again. They told her why but she knew that it was just an excuse. Her parents had been acting like jerks to Brent for the last month. She laid in her bed, crying her eyes out. She loves Brent and he loves her. How was she going to tell Brent that they couldn't be together anymore? She arrived at school, seeing Brent waiting for her as usual with a smiling face. But he knew that something was wrong when he saw her on the verge of tears. "What's wrong?" he asked her, concerned about her. "W-We....we can't be together anymore," Tammy said back to Brent, the tears gushing out. "What? But why?" Brent asked.
Complicated
"My parents are forbidding me from seeing you ever again," Tammy said, crying so hard. Brent looked at Tammy and then hugged her. "It will be alright. I have an idea. Let's pretend to 'break up' and be apart. But then once you turn 18, you can move out of your parent's house and come live with me. Then we'll get to be together," Brent told her, smiling. Tammy had heard Brent and stopped crying, smiling a tiny bit. "That could work. But that is two whole years that we will be away from each other," Tammy said. "I know, and it'll be hard. But it will be worth it in the end when we can be together." Brent replied back. "Okay." Tammy said, smiling as she hugged and kissed Brent for what feel like the last time. Tammy had told her parents that they 'broke' up. During the two years, Tammy would be thinking about Brent every single day and dream about him at night. She missed being with him, laughing and talking with him, his bear hugs, and his sweet warm lips. To her, those two years felt like an eternity. But then it had been two years and she had just turned eighteen. She smiled, happy that two years had finally passed. She called up Brent, glad to hear his sweet voice. She told him to come over and help pack her stuff. Brent agreed as he rushed over. Tammy's parents were in shock and horror as they saw Brent pull up and then come into the house. Tammy smiled as she saw Brent and kissed him. "What is he doing here?!" her parents asked, angry and digusted. "He's here to help me move out. I'm going to move in with him. I am eighteen and I am legally an adult, which means that I can move out. I'm tired of you guys telling who I can be with. I'm leaving and you can't stop me!" Tammy yelled. Her parents were shocked and speechless. So Brent and Tammy packed up all of her stuff and threw it all into his truck. Then she got into the truck as they drove off, away from her parent's house. She was finally free. Now they are happy together. They live in a small house, Brent getting his Bachelor's Degree in Video Game Design and Tammy getting hers in Psychology. He works as a video game tester and she works as a part time counselor at her old high school. Their relationship was complicated, but it was all worth it because now they are together and so incredibly happy.
