SAVE DARFUR
Right now in Darfur there is a genocide going on. This started in 2003. After a few years of neglect in Darfur two rebel groups went to confront the President. His response...the genocide. He formed the Janjaweed militia. Since forming they have raped, burned down homes, displaced, murdered and tortured Darfurians.
Background:
All of this is supported by the government. They have painted their airplanes white, to match UN planes....thus the Darfurians never know who is who. The Sudanese President started the Fire Campaign. (at left). Right now it is underfunded and basically we've been sitting back and watching. But many people got tired of doing that.
