COMPARISONS: The 4th of July and Bastille Day are very similar. We both set off fireworks and many people in the U.S. stay out late and celebrate as they do in France. Family gets together on the 4th of July as they do on Bastille Day. Lastly, both countries celebrate with the colors red, white, and blue.
