Such a flight of fancy In a place so far away. I'd give my eyes if only, if only I could be a bird for a day. Wings outstretched, soaring high Right into the vast unknown. Seeking freedom.. seeking you.. I can feel it ache in my bones. Perhaps I'd wander forevermore Unaware of human boundaries. Over snow white moutains; everglades, Then across the temptuous seas. Not seeing any evil nor fearing it, For the Heavens are my domain. But always longing for something more. A kindred spirit, a familiar name. Launching through the piercing cold, A cry escapes my throat. Such freedom this is, the freedom I wanted But I'm doomed to fly alone.
Price of Freedom
