The Last Super
Info about the Last Super: The last super was created by Da Vinci in 1495 to 1498 but he did not work on this project continuously. Da Vinci painted this on dry wall instead of on wet plaster so it would not be classified as a fresco. Throughout time this peice has not withstood time very well even though it looks nice in the picture belowe. Leonardo was made to paint this painting by the Duke in millan because the Duke wanted a religious painting. This painting shows the evening before Chirst was betratyed by one of his disciples. Specifically, the Last Super depicts the next few seconds in this story after Christ dropped the bombeshell that one disciple would betray him before sunrise, and all twelve have reacted of horror, anger and shock.
