I did love him. Our lives are too different, and our dreams do not coincide. We are now both unhappy. We've grown apart. I can't live this life with him, not the way he's living it. I'm distracted, young and want to be alive, in ways that he is unable to appreciate. I feel that if we stay together, I'll have signed up for a future of stability. Standard. I don't want standard, not right now. I want excitement. We can't go on this way, I see no opportunity for change. I want to be who I am while I have the chance. I want to follow my dreams and be happy. There's never a wrong time, to find a new way.
