My Snowy Memory
A white snowy blanket, Christmas in Peoria, 1998. Outside my apartment, Making snowballs, forts, snowangels. Asking my big brother, to make a snowman with me, Laughing, he throws a snowball my way. Hitting it's target, I cry. But luckily, this is'nt my story. My brother and I, playing in the soft, fluffy snow, That's my story. Offering to build a snowman with me. We stack three balls with twigs for arms, It has eyes, a mouth, a carrot nose. I am happy. I laugh.
