My Sister's Keeper... is a story about a young girl named Anna. She has an older brother and an older sister. Anna doesn't like always having to help her older sister. Her older sister, Kate, has Leukemia... and throughout Anna's life shes been donating blood and bone marrow. When Anna is 13 though, Kate needs a kidney. Her parents assume Anna will just do it for her sister, and Anna gets mad. She hires a lawyer and fights her parents for rights to her own body... to find out more, read the book!

Anna- A 13 year old girl. She enjoys astronomy, she is named after a star. She doesn't really get along with her mother. Kate- A 16 year old with Leukemia. She is constantly needing blood and things to stay alive... provided by Anna. Sara- Anna and Kates mom that thinks Anna is rediculous for not saving her sister.

Always make sure you read the book before you see the movie. Usually, the book is waaaaaaaayy better than the movie. Especially in this case. I believe the book is better in this situation because in the movie they change the ending and it doesn't have as much emotion as the book origninally had.
