I came from Khemet, ancient Egypt. There, I was a priest in name, but I served no god other than my Pharaoh. After dying and subsequently waiting thousands of years, I was given life here again, with my true yami. I have degrees in architecture, magical engineering, and business management, am a trained healer, and I was working on a degree in metaphysics when we lost our magic. I decided to stop studying and concentrate on my family at that point.
Yuugi and Atem are polar opposites. Yuugi is pure light and Atem pure darkness, through no fault of his own. It isn't my place to talk about his past, but he deserves nothing but respect and kindness. This overlaps onto Kura as well because in Khemet Kura, Atem, and I were very nearly married. Kura and I acted as Atem's light, and we were enough to keep him sane, and fairly happy. I'm glad that he has Yuugi now, because Yuugi is actually enough for him. Sometimes I wonder if Yuugi is a wholly good influence, but as long as Atem is happy...

My yami, Seto, and I... I'm not really sure what to say. We live with the rest of our lovers and the Harbingers, our future children, in the palace. Seto can occasionally be hard to get along with for others, but the only problems I had were when he already had a hikari. The two of us work together probably better than any other yami-hikari pair, likely because we're very similar; so are Ryou and Kura, but we are, usually, less psycho, although Seto has his moments.
Bakura is our lovable psycho with a golden heart, less psycho than some others. He is honest, but antisocial; if you can get to know him, you'll like him. Ryou has issues. I probably shouldn't say more than that, but he's getting better. They make a good pair, always there for each other... less so for the group, unfortunately. I'm not sure if they feel left out or if they prefer to be on their own.
Pegasus, an irritating artist, and Mokuba, our misguided brother, have been planning their wedding since Mokuba was twelve and Pegasus was still autistic. If Pegasus looks like a girl, it's because half the time, he is... I don't like Pegasus very much. In case you hadn't noticed. I can tolerate him/her/it when I have to.
