Revelations A Blue Bloods Novel
Schuyler Van Alen- She is a quiet beautiful 15 year old girl who goes to the rich, fufilled prep school in New York City, Duchesne. She is not very popular and has only a few good friends, Oliver, her Conduit, and Bliss. Sky is a Blue Blood, well a Half Blood. Her father was Red Blood and her mother is the Archangel Gabrielle, a Blue Blood. Bliss Llewellyn- Bliss was once Mimi Force's best friend, but then turned to Schuyler who is a much better person in heart. Bliss is a Texan Blue Blood transfer at Duchesne. She does some modeling, like Sky, and is considered one of the prettiest girls in New York City. Bliss doesn't find out until the end that Sky is really her sister and that she is the Dark Prince. But the poor girl doesn't know what's going to happen to her next. Jack Force- Jack is the best looking Junior in Duchesne. He is a Blue Blood. He is an incredible sweetheart and is very calm, but that is just his exterior hiding his true self. Jack is Abbadon the Angel of Destruction, a terrifying destructor. His heart is split two ways, one for Schuyler Van Alen and one part for Mimi Force. The part that loves Sky is full of tender, love notes, and passion. The other part, or other half of him, belongs forever to Mimi Force, his twin sister. Mimi and Jack were born in the same family, but in the Vampire world they are half of each other; seperated as they fell from heaven. Jack hates Mimi yet will always love her. All he wants is to be with Sky, but cannot. It is against the Vampire code and it would Destroy him. Mimi Force- Mimi is rated one of the richest and most beautiful women in New York City who is a Junior at Duchesne. She is deeply in love with her twin Jack. Mimi is a Blue Blood as well, she is Azrael the Angel of Death. She has a burning hatred for Schuyler Van Alen because Jack loves her so much, and treats Sky better than he treats herself. Mimi is a jealous, manipulative, and intimidating person. There isn't anything she can't handle, except her rash brother.
Characters & Descriptions

The story essentially takes off where the previous book in the series finished. Schuyler Van Alen, Mimi, and Jack Force are still fixed in a love triangle. Schuyler is torn up with guilt over making her best friend and Conduit, Oliver, her human familiar. Next there is Bliss Llewellyn, Schuyler’s ally and best friend who is suffering from numerous horrific visions that start to drive her a little mad. Dylan, the boy who was considered to be dead, killed by a Silver Blood, comes back. Bliss becomes confused on her feelings for him, her once passionate love for him becoming disrupted by his madness. She starts to consider if the relationship among them is love, friendship, or mere concern and guilt. Mysterious events occur in Corcovado, Brazil, that forces her Grandfather, Lawrence (her very last family member), to go off to Brazil to check things out. Her grandfather is Regis and so forth is duty-bound to go down. Schuyler flies down in worry from not hearing from him only to find death and broken hearts, along with Bliss’s discovery of who she really is.
Setting: This story takes place in New York City for the first 2/3 of the book and then the last part of the book takes place in Brazil.
Themes: Romance Suspence Book Series
Plot Summary
The series has a lot going for it, it has an interesting view on Vampires/Angels, immortals that can die however are reborn through reincarnation. They live everlastingly but each time with a different human shell, and it takes them years prior to fully recovering their memories. This book had some fantastic moments but I was a little disappointed in how the author rushed some parts. For example the last five chapters of the book were rushed and very vague. I did not like how they didn’t elaborate on the reunion of Schuyler and her mother, as well as the two battles. There were some “make-up, hook-up” moments, but I wish they had elaborated on it more, like the previous books showing the real emotional connection. It was not as good as the past two books but in my mind I think it is because it is setting up for the next book in the series “The Van Alen Legacy”. I do suggest reading the book though.
The most important scene from the whole novel would have to be when Bliss figures out who she really is, and what she had done. It’s the most important because that’s when everything from this book and the first two finally come together and understand why she had her blackouts. It is basically the scene where everything comes together, that’s why it is the most important in the whole book.
