My Angel Why was it my child that had to be took away? Why wasn't she allowed to stay? Just be with me for another day? Why did she have to go? Her smile and face lit up the room, I held her in the minutes that remained, I watched her slowly go and it left me in so much pain. I was her mummy and couldn't help her fight, I was the person who told her everything would be all right. I gave her the love she needed and never imagined we'd part, I remembered when she was well and smiling through my heart. My precious little girl who I loved so much, she fought for her life but her body gave up. I lived my life and my life was for her, she was everything to me; she was my little girl.
Touched by an Angel I told you that I loved you but I knew I wouldn't get a reply, I stare at you photogragh and notice a twinkle in your eye. I can't hear you breathing, I can't hear you voice, All I see is a picture of you smiling and I knew it weren't your choice. If I could take the memories of you I would build them into something nice, You left us with only a lesson to make the most of our life, You gave each of us the strenght and the words of your own, You shown you had courage and that you was bold, and you left each of us with the happiness that you wanted us to hold. You never cried in front of us and you never said you was sad, I don't think you were scared becuse now you are with your dad.
A Mothers Gift The best day I remember was when I gave birth to you, The joys of happiness just sank through. Holding you in my arms is every mothers wish, And I couldn't wait for you to get older so I could tell you this. You're my beautiful girl, the best I could ever wish, When I look into your eyes, you to me are the best gift. Sent down from heaven and angel in the sky, My love for you will always grow stronger and will never die.
Come With Me Don't cry no more wash away those tears, I am here to hold you, come underneath my wings, I 'll carry you to the safest place to take all that pain away, So don't blame yourself, You knew you weren't meant to stay. I can't wait to hug you, I have been at your bedside all night, I wanted my little girl to be rescued, And free of that pain tonight. So take my hand and wipe that tear, You knew I would never leave you dad's always here.
