The tone to ''Name'' is...light and smooth
''You''The author added a lot of imagery and details to this poem. For example, in the second stanza, it reads, ''Falling in love is a glamorous hell; like a tiger ready to kill; a flame's fierce licks under the skin.'' This helped me picture in my mind what the main topic, wich was love, was being described as in the poem.

''Name''Figurative language plays a big part in this poem. The author compared this ''name'' to things like for example, '' jewels on the thread of my breath.'' Also, as well as imagery, there are many similes that the author put into this poem. Such as, ''like a wish'', and, ''brushing my lips like a kiss.''
