So alright. Matt finds out that his girlyfriend Marie is pregnant right? So this is what happens: He drops out of schol in hopes of providing for his family. His intention was to focus on Marie and their unborn child, because well.. he's bouta be a dadda. The decision, overall, was super. Although he lost out on an education and a successful life career wise, he supported Marie 100%, and took responsibility for his actions.

Mattie boy had many alternatives LOL. He obviously could have continued with his education and with his career in life, and he could have easily avoided his family obligations. Also, he could have married Marie but continued to go to schoolio. Because of the decision, Matt had to leave his family to start his own. However, he did leave all of this to become to loving, caring father, and family trumps errrything ya dig?
Whether God was a part of Matt's decision or not, to not marry Marie and to not start a family with her would have been wrong. God being a part of the decision would have meant that Matt made the right choice in accepting responsibility. If God was not a part of the decision, however, then Matt would have continued with his life. Matt could have easily included God in the process of the decision making if he just prayed to God asking for guidence, YA KNOW?
Matt clearly should have talked to his family before he hopped on the chance to drop out. He could have gotten some insightful advice, and could have saved himself the trouble of losing a promising future. His decision affected Kate the most because she looked up to him, and when she left all that was promised to him, she was disapointed and upset.
