My Pets
The name of the biggest goldfish is called Goldie because its colour is really gold. The other goldfish doesn't have a name yet. If you look carefully, you will see one black skirt tetra. Actually there are 3 of them. They swim so fast it is so hard to catch them in a picture. I was lucky to get one. This one in the picture is called Pikachu. The others are Charmander and American Airlines. Goldie is 7 years old. It is approaching adult life. I am not sure how old no name is. The tetra are about 2 years old. One of Goldie's eye is blind so he can't eat flakes. They are hard to see. No name is an average size goldfish but is a little fat. The three tetras chase each other around to play. Sometimes by accident, their fins rip a teeny bit. They heal really quickly though. Here we have our only pet that eats things live. It is a frog! We caught it from a camp in Muskoka. When we caught it, it was still the last stage of a tadpole with a tail. It eats crickets and worms.
