George Orwell or Eric Arthur Blair was born June 25, 1903 in Bengal, India. Even when in school he was against authority and would rather read a fiction book than listening. Being a noncomformist started young for Orwell. George Orwell is most famous for his books Nineteen Eighty-Four and Animal Farm, which he published in the 1940's. His books bashed several governments, like British imperialism, facism, and soviety-style communism. He also degraded modern media as a tool for it's use of propaganda.
