Integers in Everday Life :)
Integers are used in the stock. They are used when a company loses and gains money. If the company loses money, they would have a negative amount of money. That means they did not make any money, but they lost that money. If the company gains money, they would have a profit (which is a positive amount).
Integers are used when you deposit and withdraw money from your bank account. When you withdraw money from your bank account, you are subtracting (-) money. When you deposit money into your bank account, you are adding (+) money. If you run out of money in your bank account, and use a credit card, then there is a chance that you would have a negative balance in your account. Obviously, if you add money into your account, you have a positive balance.
Integers are used when you are measuring temperatures. If it was really cold outside (below zero), then the temperature is a negative number. For example, -5 degrees or -3 degrees. If a temperature is above zero degrees, then is would be a positive temperature. For example, 50 degrees or 85 degrees.
