Futurism
Futusim was a celebration of the machine age, glorying war and favoring facism. Futurist sculptures and paintings were very concerned with expressing movements and dynamics of natural man made forms.
Futurism was an art movement in Italy in the early 20th century. It was inspired by Filippo Tomasso Marinetti' first manifesto of futurism appeared, until the end of World War I.
How it started
Why was it important at that time?
Futurism helping the artists glorify Italy and to lead their counry into the age of modernity. it also influenced other 20th century art movents. e.g. Art Deco and Surrealism. Modernists movement was celebrating the technological era.
