Population:The population of Peru includes 29248943 people there growth rate is 1.02% there life expectancy is 72 years.
Climate:The climate of Peru includes subtropical with little rainfall. mostly extreme changes sometimes extreme cold or heat is experienced.
History of Event:At 3:23 P.M many of the people in Yungay, Peru was watching the world cup soccer match when all of a sudden they heard a low rumbling sound coming form the mt. . All of a sudden Yungay experienced a large earthquake of 8.0 on the Richard scale. it split open the plaza , crumpled houses , and millions of walls were collapsed. but it didn't stop there, the earthquake caused an avalanche from the mountain Nevado de Huascaran. it caused tons of ice snow break from the mt. which went into the river and overflowed the lakes witch caused mud,ice,debris, and rocks to tumble 10 miles down the mt. at 3mls a mn. ti covered Yungay completely under miles of snow and rock . the whole town of yungay was completly covered.

Effect:The people of Yungay were effected because 20,000 people died and all the schools,buildings,etc. were under the snow and wasn't ever recovered to this day Yungay is still under the snow.
