Kerner Commission
The Kerner Commission was a group that were focusing on urban violence and that recomended the end of segregation in American Society. They tried to get president Johnson to study the issues in American Society of the violence.

Johnson was the 11- member of the commission. The commission was called to create new jobs and construct new housing and to stop segregation.
If the commission was not made I think that sergregation would of gotten worse. And the United States wouldnt be how it is now. It probably would of been a lot worse.
