Trees suck up carbon dioxide and make clean air for us to breathe. Line-dry your clothes in the spring and summer instead of using the dryer. Using your own cloth bag instead of plastic or paper bags reduces waste and requires no additional energy.
To stop global warming : use light bulbs with compact fluorescent bulbs it saves 300 lbs. of carbon dioxide. Use 100% post consumer recycled paper. Save 5 lbs. of carbon dioxide per ream of paper. Buy wind certificates and green tags. Buy products with less packaging and recycle paper, plastic and glass.
Warming temperatures in polar regions are causing an increasing number of polar bears to collapse from heat exhaustion. Average annual temperatures in the area have risen from 20 degrees below zero to 15 below zero in the last 30 years, and these giant creatures simply can not withstand the excess heat. Because of global warming, the bears' normal way of life is changing rapidly..it's tragic.
